Q: Are these prices promotional rates that increase after a certain time?
A: We are hearing from many clients asking the following question because their current ISP has scared them to switch. The answer is no, we do not use the bait and switch tactic like the larger ISP’s to trick customers into signing up starting with low prices then doubling or more. We also do not offer terms or contracts. All our rates are standardized and they are not a time limited promotion. If our wholesale rates are increased due to CRTC regulations then we have no choice to increase our rates, but they will normally never increase to the same extent as the other ISP’s. We work with very small margins to assure all the savings are shared with all our clients. We strongly believe if the price and service is excellent then we have no need to trick our clients into contracts or price flips.
Q: What type of internet service is this? DSL, fibre, or cable? And where is it available?
A: The service we provide in Vancouver is called broadband cable internet. It runs off the same cable copper lines as your local Cable TV broadcaster and ISP. We lease the lines that are in your territory and bring it back to our clients at a fraction of the cost. Keeping overhead costs low and our prices lower! We normally have service anywhere your local cable provider has service. The best way to check for availability is by pressing on the order now button on any of our pages, or click here to check.
Q: If I place an order how long does it take to activate, and can I transfer my current cable internet to you?
A: If you are placing a new order from and currently do not have cable internet with your service provider then it would normally take five to nine days to activate a new connection. If you have internet with the main cable ISP (Shaw) in Vancouver and not a third party ISP then we can transfer the service normally in 15 days and avoid full installation charges.
Q: What are the costs associated with setting up the internet service?
A: Its relatively low considering the savings you will be getting, normally the startup costs pays itself off in a couple months or less. Standard mandatory installation for clients that are not with another cable ISP is $79.95+ taxes. Please note a technician will arrive at your home and require access to inside and outside the property. The installer does not install the modem, router or setup your network or computers. They are assinged only to run, activate, and test the line. The rest is setup quickly and easily by you and the help of our support team over the phone. If you qualify for a transfer of service, then it would cost $21.95 and a technician does not require to come to the home and it’s considered a network transfer.
Q: What are the hardware costs to setup the internet with your company?
A: You will require two pieces of hardware. First the modem that will provide the internet to your home from the cable line/jack. Second is a wireless router, that will provide Wi-Fi connection so that you can connect your smart devices like laptops, tablets, smartphones, and smart TV’s. The modem purchased through us is $99.95 and routers cost $49.95 and up to $69.95 depending on the range and features required. Many of our clients have their own modem and routers as long as its compatible we will allow it on the network.

Q: Do you charge system access fee’s and other hidden charges?
A: Absolutely not, no way, never! All our prices are listed here on our links and we do not charge bogus fee’s and recovery costs. What you see is what you get.
Q: Will I get inferior service or lack of service from using your internet over the larger companies? I was told that if I need to open a service ticket by my current internet service provider it will be done late or not at all, or there will be charges associated by sending out a technician to repair the issue?
A: We hear this scare tactic very often from clients concerned about the switch or change over. Their current internet provider will try to convince them that that change will disrupt their connection and if a service ticket is required it will cost them money. The facts are that you will not get less of a service and dispatching a technician to repair any external outages will not cost you a penny. The only time you will incur a charge is if you require repair work done from within your walls of your home, as an example rodent or water damage and new wiring is required to be run. Then and only then it will be a billable service call, this is the same rule for any ISP and your current ISP. We hope this clears any uncertainty you may have.
Q: Is this internet service really unlimited?
A: Yes, our service is 100% unlimited and you will not be charged overage fee’s. We do not cap our bandwidth so feel free to stream, game, and browse the web with no worries of overage fees.
Q: What does your unlimited $14.95/m home phone service include? And can I keep my current number?
